Required Dental Nurses Urgently  

The role carries the following responsibilities: Provide advanced clinical and administrative support to the dental practitioner. Provide chair-side assistance and ensure correct equipment and materials are available. Ensure correct usage of all dental equipment in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and report any faults to the practice manager. Ensure sterilisation of all clinical areas and office reception. Accurately complete clinical records as directed. Handle all substances in accordance with COSHH procedures. Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety rules and procedures. Complete laboratory request forms and keep records of work sent, received and fitted. Carry out regular stock-takes and notify practice manager when supplies need to be ordered. Ensure patient records are accurately maintained and stored. Liaise with reception to ensure smooth patient communications and transfer of records. Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-house training sessions. Day to day office reception responsibilities include the operation of the appointment system, handling phone calls, and welcoming clients. 

You must have a professional working attitude, a pleasant manner, be willing to work as part of a team, be computer literate, and able to use your own initiative. A very good English language level is required.
 

Experience Required

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years verifiable Dental Nursing experience. Detailed references will be required in order to verify this experience.
I will interview all candidates to assess their abilities and language skills.
Pay scale

Dental Nurse Entry Level     £13,000 - £16,000
Dental Nurse       £16,000 - £20,000
Dental Nurse Team Leader / Senior Nurse £17,000 - £20,000
Salaries in the private sector are broadly comparable with those in the public sector. Please remember that these are only a rough guide and pay may vary, depending on location, experience etc.

Course

Candidates will be enrolled on the following course: Oral Health Care NVQ. This course will run for 2 years and will allow candidates to work and study at the same time. This course will cost a total of £1200.

This cost is payable over 2 years, £600 per year and the new style NVQ courses last for a minimum 2 years. The payment for this course will be due in the following installments:

£150 will be due on receipt of an 'offer of employment letter'. - Once we have received this payment, it will allow me to obtain an enrolment letter from the college which candidates will need to apply for their Student Visa.
£450 will be due on receipt of the 'Student Visa' - Once we have received this second payment, the candidate will then have completed their enrolment on to the course and entitle them to complete their induction on arrival to the UK.
 
This will then give the candidates a year of working in which to save the remaining £600 for their second year of study and this will be due to the colleague at the beginning of their second study year.
On arrival to the UK candidates will go to the college for their induction on to the course. Once working they will be visited periodically by an assessor from the college who will assess their skills and capabilities in accordance with the requirements of the course. At the end of their 2 year course the candidates will need to sit an exam to ensure they are eligible to pass the course successfully.
Once this course has been completed candidates will then be able to apply for their registration with the General Dental Council. 
 

Student Visa 

Once we have an offer of employment for the candidate they will need to apply for a student visa.

Once we have the above documents we can register the candidate with the college and get their enrollment certificate. The candidate will then need to make and appointment with the student visa department in their country - they must ensure they have the following documents before attending their interview. We request that they completes the attached visa form and we will email candidates guidance notes on the content and then ask that they send it to me for checking before they submits it.
